Meet My Amazing Friend!

Meet my friend, Amanda...

Isn't she pretty? :) I met Amanda at a post-college group held at our Church here in Lexington.  I knew right away that we would be fast friends because of her silly sense of humor and her joyful spirit!  Let me just tell you, this girl is amazing.

She loves Jesus, is full of integrity, never compromises her morals, and has a heart of gold. She is one of the most thoughtful people I've ever met.  She remembers every birthday (including my kids), drops gifts in the mail just because, and is the first to offer to help (and assemble the troops to join in) expecting nothing in return.

At one point, Amanda packed up and left Lexington (and her MANY, many friends here) to go live with and assist her ill grandmother in Illinois.  She is just the kind of girl that everyone loves and is beautiful from the inside out.

Eventually, she broke my heart and moved from KY to Tennessee for a job that couldn't be more perfect for her.  I'll let her tell you about that, but as much as I hate her being 7 hrs. away, she is doing exactly what she was created for!

She loves Jesus, her friends and family.  She loves to travel, loves the beach, is a Colts fan, is an awesome photographer, has some pretty incredible dance moves, and is currently on the hunt for a dog to adopt.  Despite the picture below, she does NOT love to run, but will finish the race for a great cause!  She has an amazing way with kids- she loves them and they always take right to her.  She will be an incredible mommy one day!!!

Basically, she's awesome and that's all you really need to know and if don't get to know her you have missed out... however, here are some more details.  P.S. If Jesus is not THE priority in your life, no need to contact her.  Just sayin.

Graduated from Huntington University (undergrad)
Masters in Family Studies from University of Kentucky
Currently resides in Memphis, TN and works as a Child Life Specialist
30 years old
Born in Indiana

*For the record- this was all my idea and I actually just got Amanda's permission to post this this morning.  If you want to contact her directly, you can email her at amandabrody23@gmail.com ... OR if you want to let me play middle man and get the credit if a match is made, that's fine too! :)
